New Canadian Media (NCM) asked us to deliver a high-calibre web revitalization in order to remain contemporary in the very competitive space of digital journalism, including improved video/multimedia content. As a non-profit, their budget was lean and we worked quickly and efficiently to meet their needs within their budget.
In order to improve on web management, Global360 recommended a more agile and user friendly CMS. We worked with the publisher to deliver continual digital strategy and marketing advice for one year. Global360 restructured existing content and editorial strategies to revitalize its multimedia editorial content to improve SEO. We shifted the NCM content from that of a busy website with licensed articles from other ethnic media to a focus on high quality feature content, moving away from the ‘newspaper’ model into ore of a ‘feature magazine’ format. We collaborated with NCM publishers to create long term plans for a sustainable future. Global360 is currently working on migrating the NCM website to a WordPress CMS. We worked on simple design elements in order to modernize its look and feel and in order to highlight the visual beauty of the new website.
